The structural adhesive joins the cladding to the XPS. The gap you see in the animation shows the layers of the assembled panel.
The insulation.
Extruded polystyrene core, 60–120 mm thick. Its perimeter groove houses the system's connectors.
Dimensions and scope of the visualisation
The 3D model supplied measures 1200 × 600 mm, with 80 mm of XPS and a 10 mm cladding. The 1.5 mm adhesive, the bevels, the groove and the colours are visual approximations, not manufacturing dimensions or an official CAD file. The finishes are indicative samples. Anchors, profiles, the wall and the membrane are not included in the model.
Termopiedra makes the system. Fachadas Salvatiño takes care of the project.
Termopiedra is the manufacturer of the system you have just seen open layer by layer: a panel with stone or porcelain cladding, structural adhesive and an XPS insulating core.
Fachadas Salvatiño is Termopiedra's exclusive representative in Catalonia and works directly with the manufacturer. On each project with this system it advises, proposes the solution and the finish, supplies the material and carries out the work with installers trained by Termopiedra.
